IDS contestant Rohit Singh narrates horrors of Uttarakhand floods

While the whole country is still dealing with the devastation caused by Uttarakhand floods, one of the contestants from Star Plus’s India’s Dancing Superstar, Rohit Singh narrated unfathomable horrors faced by his family due to this calamity in the upcoming episode.

Rohit, one of most subdued contestant from MJ5 was distraught when his house that has been a family heritage was gulped by the monstrous waves.

‘My whole family resides in Rudraprayag, which was one of the worst affected areas’ describes Rohit,  ‘ as it is the point of confluence of rivers - Alananda and Mandakini, my family was advised to move before things took a turn for the worse. Finally they managed to relocate to my grandmother’s place which is in the hills. I am fortunate that they survived this massive catastrophe and my heart goes out to those who are still struggling to recover’.

Rohit who is currently in Mumbai due to the show has been in constant touch with his family. He also credits his team members for being so supportive and understanding.
