KAPIL SIBAL RECITES POEM AT STAR PARIVAAR AWARDS!
This year STAR Parivaar Awards will have some of the most unique and never seen before performances. One of them will be the breath taking performance by Pankhuri aka Disha and Ratan aka Sneha. What makes this special is, the Union Minister of the country, Kapil Sibal recited his poem at the 11thSTAR Parivaar awards. The minister, who is appreciated for his talent of writing poems, gave his poem for this special act.
The act portrayed the current scenario about how the Indian women are subjected to atrocities every day at the hands of a merciless society and the male counterpart, and forced to live in fear and insecurity.
The poem in the act has a strong message that inspires women to raise their voice and confront the situation and stand up for themselves. It finally culminates by showing how women get inspired and rise to the occasion. Not only did the strong words of the poem, “Aankh khuli aazad thi main, aazadi mein zanjeerein kyun, mere bhi kuchh sapne thae, bedardi se torde kyun”, send out a strong message to the audience but it also encouraged a lot of them to come forward and pledge to make a change in the society.
